Christmas Bird Count 2025
Sometimes you have to struggle to get back to a place you love. 2-6-26 I'm finally sharing notes from the Christmas Bird Count here. I've been able to read old blog posts, but could not access the blog to post anything new for months. Obviously I know just enough about technology to mess things up. Anyway, today is my mother's birthday - 99 if anyone is counting. I wonder if finding the patience to figure out how to renew access to the blog is a gift from her to me. Anyway, I am playing catch-up. I have so many posts long delayed. This is the first of many to come and I will be back dating them (or else it will be nuts to create any kind of order). I had no less than 4 places I was supposed to be on December 20, 2025. I sent my regrets for everything except the CBC. Unless I'm out-of-the-country, I plan to be here.
